DingWorks is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. It costs you nothing extra.

How we score gear

Scores reflect how well a tool does the job it's sold for, how much skill it takes, build quality and value. A kit that only works on shallow round dings is scored as a door-ding kit, not as a hail kit. We say who each product is for, and who should skip it.

Commissions don't change scores, and brands can't pay for a review or a better score. When a brand sends us a product, the review says so.

Ads and sponsored listings

Ads are labeled "Advertisement" or "Sponsored by". Featured and Premium shops pay for higher placement, and they are labeled on the map and in search results. Payment doesn't affect reviews; shops can't remove or edit customer reviews.

Videos

Tutorial videos are made by independent creators and hosted on YouTube. We pick them because they're useful; we don't own them and aren't paid by their creators.
