The rules for using DingWorks. Have your attorney review this template before launch.
The basics
DingWorks is a directory and marketplace. We don't perform repairs, and we aren't a party to any deal between you and a shop, buyer, seller or employer. Check licensing, insurance and warranties with the shop before work starts.
Accounts
You're responsible for activity on your account. Give accurate information, keep your password private and be at least 18.
Shop listings
Only the owner or an authorized manager may claim or edit a listing. We may verify ownership, edit listings for accuracy, or remove listings for closed, duplicate or misleading businesses. Paid upgrades buy placement, not reviews or endorsements.
Reviews
Review only shops you've actually used. No fake reviews, no reviews of your own or a competitor's business, and no reviews in exchange for payment or discounts. We may hide reviews that break these rules. Shop owners can reply publicly but can't remove reviews.
Marketplace posts
Job posts must be real openings and comply with employment law. No spam or scams. DingWorks doesn't handle payments between users.
Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post, and you give DingWorks a license to display it on the site and in promoting the site. Don't post content you don't have rights to.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as is. Listings and prices come from shops and users, and we can't guarantee they're accurate. To the extent the law allows, DingWorks isn't liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site or from any repair, sale or job arranged through it.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it.
